Fetchmail configuration

I'm trying to use fetchmail to move mail from my POP account to my
system, but it doesn't appear to be working (i.e. I don't get new mail
on my system.)  Here's what my .fetchmailrc file looks like:

set daemon 300
poll ac.grin.edu user XXXXX pass XXXXX

Any suggestions?
