Choose local cdrom as source then choose Mitsumi and let it autoprobe, if it is'nt found repete the process but this time enter the port paramaters with the approriate option. There are 2 Mitsumi option types, the first is for singel speed the second for multi speed. That could be your problem, defineing the wrong sort.
