I'm still trying to get IP Masquerading to work with RoadRunner (cable
modem). I can ping back and forth between my linux machine and laptop
(Win95) and I can telnet the linux machine from the laptop just fine.
The laptop, however, can't get through to the internet. I've entered
and re-entered the ipfwadm routing commands until I'm blue in the
face...
When my machine is booting, I see two messages that concern me:
sysctl: IP forwarding off
SysV packet forwarding disabled
They may not be verbatim, but you get the idea...
What does it all mean, and is this what's hosing me?? I've been
fiddling with this for 2 weeks and it's getting old...
Thanks again,
Dave
