ONLY do this if it is configured.  If you have not configured the X-Server yet,
then you need to run the 'X86config' command to setup the proper X-Server.  To
do this you need to know (AT LEAST) what your video card is (mfg, model,
chipset, etc.) so that you can setup the X-Server properly.

The command you're looking for is, I suspect, "startx". 

This is a script that starts the X server (xinit) and calls the
appropriate window manager (KDE).
