Thanks for the replies.
Just this morning, I noticed that contrary to what I had
assumed,
NFS on my OS/2 box was _not_ behaving as I had expected it. So I
rebooted
the box, and voila! everything became all right.
And yes, the syntax I tried was correct! In other words :
'mount -o rsize=1024,wsize=1024 kenneth:e\:\\exported /mnt' mounted
the
e:\exported directory on my OS/2 box onto /mnt on my Linux system. I
was
put on the right track by one of the suggestions to try the 'showmount
-e'
command to see the list of exports.
