alright...I've got my four DNS servers in the "resolv.conf"...
like this:
nameserver (or whatever that is there...i can't remember while I'm
sitting on an NT workstation...)..anyway. let's start over
nameserver 172.209.3.8
nameserver 172.209.3.9
nameserver 172.209.3.10
nameserver 172.209.3.11
these are all the correct DNS server names. this is exactly how they
are entered in the file. this is ALL that's in the file. when I ran
pppsetup, I entered only the first one. I then went in and entered
these others by hand.
I can, in fact, dial in. my problem now is that I can't get any data
from (or to) the 'net.
I tried pinging an IP I knew was up, and got NOTHING. I tried, in fact,
Several IP's I knew were up. and nothing came back. any ideas on what
could be my problem, and how to fix it?
