Lost e-mail???

Yesterday 8/6/98 between 5:30AM and 5:30PM I downloaded only 3 messages from this 
newsgroup, timed 6:38AM,7:13AM,and 8:58AM.  I would appreciate hearing if my ISP has 
loses mail, something I have long suspected.  Thanx.
