Tell me how you're trying to start these programs, and what
does the system say back (if anything) as a result? In other
words, what are you doing and what's happening?
Pretend I'm sitting in /usr/local/games for example. I want to
start a program in this directory called "hangman". To do this,
I type ./hangman and it starts the program. What's happening on
your end?
