Also try cdda2wav. It may produce better quality rips than paranoia. Quality
produced by rippers sometimes varies greatly, so it's usually best to try as
many rippers as possible and compare the quality.
For the mp3 encoding, try blade encoder. It's pretty new, but it can produces
high quality mp3 much faster then most of the other encoders.
