segmentation fault...

Hi all,

I installed debian2 2 weeks ago with X and KDE and everything was working
perfectly until yesterday - I don't know what I did wrong but now when I try
to run some programs they tell me 'Segmentation fault' and stop. For example
midnight commander but also some other. I absolutely don't know what can be
wrong so can you please tell me what can cause this error and how to repair
it, or where can i find any information about it?
