cant get XVGA 16 to start

hello,

i am trying to get the XVGA16 server running on RH 5.1. ( i am using a
mpact2 card)

when i try to start the server it dies, first it seems to delete all the
clock settings and then it finaly dies with
"there is no dot-clock matching mode 640x400" and  
" there is no dot-clock matching mode 800x600"

any suggestions?
