Printers for Linux

I'm in the market for a printer and I know that ones that use the
Windoze Printer Systems won't work with Linux.  Does anyone have
suggestions for a good printer, I'm looking for a color Deskjet
(preferably HP) with good quality (600x600 pref.) that will print in
both LInux and Windoze.  Either printer models or what I need to look
for when shopping for a printer would be appreciated...

...btw, anyone know anyone you don't like that you could trick into
buying a Canon BJC 620??
