I got my internal IDE (I *think* it's also ATAPI) Zip drive running
under Slack 3.4 with kernel upgraded to 2.0.33 with no problems. Linux
sees it as just another removable media drive. Unless something got
broken between 2.0.33 and 2.0.34 (what Slack 3.5 comes with IIRC), it
*should* work just fine. This sounds like it may be more of a hardware
issue. Any details on how you've got the thing hooked up, where you're
trying to mount the thing, *any error messages*?
