Yesterday ,while trying to get my Canon BJ10SX working,
I (unintentionally) deleted my /devlpd, /dev/lp0 and /dev/lp1 devices.
</STUPID>
I know it's possible to restore them (Hey, this is Linux), but how?
I've read the manpage on "mknod" and something about major and minor
device numbers,
but I didn't get much out of it.
Any ideas?
I'm using:
- Red Hat 5.0
- 2.0.35
- AMD K5, blah blah blah...
Also, if someone knows how to get a Canon BJ10SX to print under LINUX,
help is greatly appreciated
