The best way is like mentioned in a previous mail from someone, set a
password for lilo, see 'man lilo.conf'.

BTW: delete lilo.conf or hide it somehwere (floppy)! as soon as you have
sucsessfully rerun lilo. Like was mentioned by that (wise) someone.
