In my last message i forgot one important point about the question of; Mounting /dev/fd0 I forgot to say "IF" there is a floppy in the drive and you get those error messages. There MUST be a floppy in the dive, otherwise the error message "not a valid block device" will appier. The person with that problem possably did not have a floppy in the drive.
