WOW! Last I heard (about a week ago) the latest stable kernel was
2.0.36, where do you live? In the future? ;-)

RedHat has the kernel sources on the first CD also. It just depends
if you opted to install the sources when you installed RedHat. To
check if you have done so, look at your /usr/src directory, if you
have a directory called linux or linux-2.0.34 or something like
that then you have already installed the 2.0.34 sources (you can
check out the sources in this directory if you are a hardcore C
enthusiast)

Well, wether to install the 2.0.34 sources or not depends on wether
you have dowloaded just the patches for 2.0.35 or the whole source.
Looking at your earlier message (which was more accurate than the
last) I think you have downloaded the whole source (about 8MB worth)
- totally unnecassary as you could have downloaded a patch and
applied it to the 2.0.34 sources - a patch is much smaller. Anyway
now that you have the whole source for 2.0.35 you do not need to
install the 2.0.34 sources from your CD. Read the Kernel-HOWTO and
the Modules mini-HOWTO for details on compiling your sources. They
are in your /etc/doc/HOWTO and /etc/doc/HOWTO/mini directories
respectively.

Good luck!
