Hello everyone,
Thanks for all your help, I understand whats going on now (at leat a bit more
of whats going on at least). I was just wondering what people recommend for
partition sizes for /, /usr, /home. I have 500MB to spare (and an extra 50MB for
swap).
I intend to run X with afterstep, and a few applications like apache and
netscape, so I would like /usr to be as big as possible. The /home is only going
to be 40MB since thats all it needs to be for my purposes.
Would a 40MB / be good? 80MB /?
Something like:
/ : 80MB
/usr : 380MB
/home : 40MB
and swap 50MB (I'm running 486 with 26MB ram)
Any advice would be most appreciated!
