I'm pretty sure amd is the automounting daemon for mounting file systems
and such. I'm just a newbie remember, but I believe I recall reading
that somewhere in the mountain of stuff that has so far gone through one
black ink cartridge on my Epson 600 inkjet. :-) Uhhh, but don't ask me
why it's hanging there for so long.
