FTP and recursive directories

Hello, I want to download redhat 5.2 from an FTP site and I can connect and
look around and even download a file but I do not know how to do recursive
directories, can anybody tell me how to do this?  I would use cuteftp on my
win95 machine but it mess's the filenames up.
