Hi Tom,
            I use to run OS/2 warp, linux and windows. At the time I never
bothered running lilo, boot manager worked just fine, except to edit it you
needed the four boot disks which was a bit boring. From memory I created all
the partitions that I wanted for linux, including the swap space, using OS/2
fdisk and then during the install used linux fdisk to change the types. You
can also get XFree86 for OS/2 warp, which runs quite well, as well as
utilities for accessing the linux partitions. This was about 2 years ago I
did this, so I have to think back. I actually found the linux - OS/2
combination really nice,
