Event sounds don't need to be handled in the server. They are already
handled at the window manager or desktop manager level. KDE is an example
of the former, Caldera's Looking Glass desktop and TkDesk is an example
of the latter. The X-server is complex enough as it is without adding
additional code to handle sound "events" or to determine if sound support
is present and how to get it sound out to the sound device.
