There's is a defragmentation utility available for the ext, ext2 (normally used
by Linux), minix and the xiafs file-system. It's simply called defrag and can
be found on metalabs (formally sunsite).

Note that the ext2 file-system is very resilient to fragmentation and defraging
it is probably more trouble than it's worth. There's always a certain amount of
risk associated with a defraging operation and unless you really have a good
reason to do so, don't.

If you really want to go ahead, be extra careful and read all the documentation.
