i use the redhat 5.1 and have just loaded oracle8.0.5 on it. i first tried
to load it on suse 5.3, did the patch and did not succeede in loading.
that is history!
i have now managed to load oracle on redhat 5.1 . i would then live to
start up the oracle server at boot time and would like to end the server
at shutdown including the "three finger salute" cnt-alt-del.
how do i do this and which is the correct place to put the scripts to
start and shutdown?
