I downloaded the seven segments of Wordperfect 8 gui00.gz...gui06.gz.
I then did tar -zxvf gui00.gz for each of these files.The README stated
that doing the ./Runme would see me thru the installation.
However after doing ./Runme I get the following two lines
Did you unzip and untar the files you downloaded ? (y/n)
After answering "y"
I get the line
Error: nothing new to install.
I also did the 'sh Readme' but I got the same results.
Has anyone had such a problem and how did you get over it
