Send me the Runme script, i will take a peek and tell you what it looks for
when you give the answer "y".
Or take a look for yourself, possably you will find the answer.

It could be that you need to use tar xfMz to unzip all the files in one go, 
-M is multi-volume.

I dont have the archive(s) so i can only guess, however normaly speaking
multi-archives need the -M option when untarring.

Looking at the file suffix it would create the impression that they are gzip
files and therefor not be in "tar" format, which would throw my suggestions
above, out of the window, however i would now suggest you read 'man gzip'
take a look at;

ADVANCED USAGE
       Multiple  compressed  files  can  be concatenated. In this
       case, gunzip will extract all members at once.  For  exam-
       ple:

If you decide to send me the Rume script, please send it as an attachment,
