I found a mini-HOWTO on the Internet which talks about how to apply address rewriting to sendmail, so that each user may use a different return address masquearade (the "sendmail address rewriting mini HOWTO" by Thomas Roessler). Unfortunately the file is pretty slim, and I suppose may be somewhat outdated, and I cannot get the address rewriting to work properly on my system. In fact if I try to apply it the entire sendmail system malfunctions.
