Hey all,
I'm wondering about what type of sound card would be the best to use.
The only card that I have right now is an Acer Magic S20, which is a PnP
card that emulates (when initialized) either a WSS or SBPro. I'm pretty
confident that it wouldn't be something that Linux would like. That,
and I don't feel like installing Windows 95 just so that the card will
be initialized.
I do know that the Sound Blaster cards are supposedly the best ones for
support, but do they sound the best, and what Sound Blaster should be
used?
