Sure does good buddy, actually most of the commands 'programs' are
execatly the same, mostly gnu stuff. In fact not only that if you take
your linux knowledge to any other unix you should feel at home. Sure
there is little dif like how ps and find work under solaris than under
linux, but it's no big deal, 'ls' is 'ls' no matter if you under solaris,
bsd, aix, or etc.
There is little quirks to it, but going from slackware to redhat to
freebsd is alot easier than going from win95 to slackware to basic
interpeter.
