I just did a notebook install onto an old 486 sans CD-ROM drive. I used an
NFS install... Just boot from Redhat's boot disk, use their supp disk to get
pcmcia networking going and connect to my other Linux box... There's also an
option for Samba so I guess you could probably share the CD in a windows
box.
