I have a 486 with RedHat Linux 5.1 installed that I use as a part time
Intranet web server, a DNS, and a dial-out gateway for my small home
network. I recently powered the box down to get it to stop dialing
out (diald problem). The box was up for weeks with no problem (other
than diald), but when I tried to bring it back up it's now hanging at
the "INIT Entering Runtime Level 3..." message when booting. I tried
a couple of times but no luck. I have re-built, recompiled, and
re-installed Linux 4 or 5 times in the last few months, I really don't
want to have to do it again.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
