OK, I just bought a new computer with a new ATI Charger vid card.
It's AGP with 4meg of videoRAM, but I can't seem to get RedHat 5.2 to
see it. I have run Xconfigurator and set up the vid card as a Mach-64
compatible RageII card, (my mointor's not listed so I picked the
closest one to it) but when I start X I get an error message. It says
something like "Card found but not enough memory to support this
resolution...". I've tried running in 8bit 640X480 mode but still no
luck. I can run the standard VGA XServer fine but not the mach64
server.
Any ideas? should I return the card and get another?
