I'm trying to install KDE on my RedHat 5.2 distribution. When installing the Kdebase-1_0-7rh51.rpm I get a dependency error: libncurses.so.3.0 is needed by kdebase-1.0-7rh51. I found that file on my hard drive and copied it to where the other libncurses are in the /usr/lib directory but I still get the same error message. Do I need to recompile the kernal to include library support. alan
