Thats NOT the _EXACT_ error message and certanly not ALL of it, however it
does give more information than your first message.

attach_adlib_card is defined in /linux/drivers/sound/sound_calls.h which is
called from adlib_card.c via sound_config.h.

You either have made a mistake when configuring under "make config" or
possably even defined the wrong IRQ/io_base.
I would guess that you just have not defined the proper drivers.

Anyway perhaps Frank could shed some more light on this..
