That message indicates that the kernel module loader is looking for the
Appletalk module.  I'm not sure what file Debian uses, but in Slackware
it is /etc/modules.conf  Some distros use /etc/conf.modules  Look for
that file and add the line:
alias net-pf-5 off
and all should be well.
