Thanks everyone for your help so far but I can't get the thing to work. This is my aim. lET everyone internally access their mail via pop, let everyone externally get their mail by POP EXCEPT for John_Doe. I want it so that if John_Doe tries to get his mail outside of the network he can't. How is this done with hosts.allow/deny or with inetd.conf I've had a look at tcpd but that didn't really help me.
