Well here's hoping this is the right place for this :) Has anyone actually succeeded installing SO5.0 on a glibc 2.0.109 or so system without actually butchering the poor thing to pieces? SO5.0's anal incistance on glibc 2.0.7 is REALLY beginning to get up my butt and if I used the glibc libraries supplied with it the setup command whinges and dies. On a different (yes similar) not, has anyone actually succeeded gettingh Wordperfect 8 for Linux (the freebie version, registered even) to actually save a file in Word 6/7 format that was originally a text file? Or was this a feature that was not considered important and therefore removed so as to make downloading quicker? 2 down, 1 to go... Does anyone know where I can get Applix from, if there's any way to get a hold of it for free and if it'll deal with Word 6/7 format documents in both outgoing and incoming? *sigh* First experience with nonOS s/w on linux... So far the OS side is winning by a country mile and then some. :/ -- CaT ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) URL: http://www.zip.com.au/dev/null There was farting in the air that night, It lit so bright, Fernando...
