Error 0x10

I'm trying to install linux on this old 486 of mine but when i boot with
the bootdisk everything works fine untill you get to the prompt for
extra parameters, when i get to there i hit enter to load ramdisk then i
get an "Error 0x10"  any way i can fix this?
