After working for three weeks i have an 8bit clean connection (8N1) with my
isp under Linux RedHat 5.2 Xwindows. (with a lot of help from my friends).
Now i have a problem with Netscape 4.08 (communicator and navigator).
Most times i start Netscape it freezes. Xwindows keeps working as it should.
[In the dir. /root/.netscape/ i see l... lock-->nnn.n.n.n.:(pid). I know i
can kill this pid or rm .netscape/lock].
Does somebody know why netscape freezes, and give me some help.
