Hi all,

In the process of getting my computer for 2.2.0 I have seemingly messed
something up. I have Redhat 5.1 originally....although I have upgraded many
of the original programs. I have 2.2.0 booting up but there are a few
problems, some of which I think are related.

The first is as follows. When I try to run "depmod -a" I get:

depmod: error in loading shared libraries
: undefined symbol: __bzero

I assume this is a problem with the wrong version of a library on my system.
My problem is that I have no idea how to figure out which library is at
fault. I have done "ldd depmod" and all libraries seem to be accounted for.

The other problem is that I can't open my sound devices, namely /dev/mixer
and /dev/dsp. When I try to run any sound applications I get:

aumix: error opening /dev/mixer.

If someone could shed some light on these problems I would appreciate it
greatly.
