I once read a great article on viruses and those that make them on the
old IBM anti-virus page. The summation was that virus makers are lazy
SOB's and that so far 99% of all known viruses are for DOS or Windows.
At the time I read this, there were no viruses for LInux, only one for
OS/2, but over 50,000 for DOS/Windows!
The easy solutions were not to run anything sent to you over the net,
only download from reputable sources, and scan anything you download.
