linux loading

Hi, 

        I have a strange probs. I want to install RH 5.0 to a nex box
with p233 32MB VGA 4.3GB Ultra Ata, after I put the boot floppy and it 
saz loading .... then after a while some warning message come and the
system gets rebooted by itself, it goes on so fast that I cant grab
the warnings, I have tried expert mode when prompted at boot: but result
is same.. Can u help?


        Can anybody suggest a place where I find a good free version of
COBOL and foxbase on linux?
