Please reply to me in private, as I no longer get any mail from the
list...thanks.

Anyhow, I just set up a RedHat system on my P2 350, blah, blah, and its
working wonderfully for everything I want (apache, samba for in my dorm
network, star office, etc...) except I have one problem... no one can log
in remotely. No ssh. No telnet. It's a bit annoying. Anonymous ftp
does work if that helps to identify the problem...

I've been browsing around a lot of the various files in /etc like
inetd.conf, but it seems normal...though I am quite the newbie, so I could
be wrong. :-)

Anyhow, here's the deal: people can connect. They get the little login
prompt, it accepts their username and password and even if it is correct,
it says, "login incorrect." And that is that.

Any ideas on how to fix this? It's RedHat 5.1 if it matters...

Oh, and while I am at it, does anyone have any idea where I should start
in order to configure my sound card? I don't get any sound at all...the
card is a SoundBlaster, so I've been told it should work. And thirdly,
does anyone know of a place on the net that has some hacked print drivers
or something. I have a printer that I want to use, but there is no
UNIX/Linux support for it...

thanks a lot!!!!
