Hi, Albert

There are many people using Linux and Win95 on the same PC.

I can run Linux, MS DOS or Win95 at my choice.
I have Redhat 5.1, hda1 is formated to dos (with win95), hda2 is logical
formated dos (for DOS programs),hda3 is ext2,hda4 is swap.

There are 5 MINI-HOWTO for this. In my distribution there is a directory
/MINI in the HOWTO directory. MINI-HOWTOs are short tricks written by
users.

I installed LILO on the ext2 partition, not in the MBR because Win95 is
an arrogant system who replaces everything in MBR and installs himself.
Because of different problems I had to re-install many times Win95 (I
wish you more luck). Because LILO is on the Linux partition it can be
not disturbed by Win95.

Before installing Win95 you have to make a boot floppy for Linux to be
shure you can boot Linux. And make a try with this floppy to see if it
really works.

You can also move the Lilo on the Linux partition to be shure it won't
be overwritten by Win95.

Mount your dos partition as you can see it from Linux and copy your work
on the Linux partition. I had the surprise to see everything gone from
my dos partitions and only the linux partition was left on my HDD.
