Hi out there,
I have the bad feeling that I'm in trouble....
I'm in the middle of the installation of RH5.2
Most of the things went well,
except:
linuxconf, DEV ( or was it dev or Dev ) and MAKEDEV gave the following
error:
" rpm installation of xxx failed, excecution of script failed "
I already then thought this is probably bad...
Now I'm at the point where the installer asks me whether I would like to
make a bootdisk.
Of course I want, I insert a brandnew disk, just out of the box,
but all I get is:
" Error occured during step "Create Bootdisk" of installation"
and if the frequency of my eyes is high enough, he did not even access
the
floppy, like the sign dos not go up on my Laptop..... no noise neither.
I'm not very experienced in Linux, but I feel a correlation between the
DEV ( suppose means device ) and the fact my floppy is not working.....
quick help would really be appreciated...
