Hi anybody out there???
things are going worse and worse.
Was playing around with the command line under ALT-F2 for a while and found
out what happend:
found this in the install.log...
the installer wasn't able to find the rpm packages for dev and MAKEDEV...
I was checking this ( god thanx I'm on a LAN here ) but they ARE there, no
idea
why he did not find them!!! Might be because I use ftp to another machine
with CDROM,
like my laptop hasn't one.
Anyway: I skipped the bootdisk part and like I expected he does not want to
do the
LILO neither, so I am in real trouble......
I also checked how far I can go back, but there is no way to go to the
point where
he is looking for the dev and MAKEDEV rpm's.
Will try to install them manually, but I think it's sort of too late even
if I suceed,
like there were probaby already things executed on that missing parts.
will try anyway, and if it does not work out
install once again
