Title: AW: Connecting to LAN

This adapter won't work with a general NE2000 driver. It's a PnP PCI adapter. I have this adapter in OS/2 and the only driver that worked was the native 3Com driver that came with the NIC.

Good luck.

    Hi,
read the ethernet HOWTO.  I did a quick search at

    http://www.linuxhardware.net/

    and gave the response

Supported properly in 2.0.36 and 2.2.x
kernels. Very stable. Kernels prior to 2.0.36
have a nasty habit of panicking with this
     card.

but if you still can't find a driver, sometimes a generic driver will work, i.e. if
its based on say ne2000 or lance.
The howto will tell you about specifying irq, i/o etc, but I can't remember the
    correct commands,

    Johann
