Shell Programming: Loops HOWTO?

I can successfully write and execute scripts now (no applause, please).  But
I have not found a good HOWTO or easy manual on bash shell programming.  I
would just like to execute 2 commands over and over (mirror and sleep,
actually), how do I do this?.  I can program C, if that helps.
