I'm sorry I didn't pay enough attention to this topic, but I thought maybe this
helps. As I know, you can modify the HD parameters (cyl. & heads) without
modifying it's capacity. The point is that cyl.old x heads.old = cyl.new x
heads.new. In fact, that's what some BIOSes understand by Normal or Large.
