Hi

My Bios had the option "PnP OS" set as <NO> so I changed that to <YES>
and now I get info on my AWE64 when I am doing "pnpdump >/etc/isapnp.conf"
and I can now get .mid files to play.

At boot time though, I get the following messages:
sh: /usr/local/bin/sfxload : no such file or directory
post_install lib/modules/2.2.1/misc/awe_wave.o failed

I think these 2 lines relates to the following line in my module.conf
post-install awe_wave /usr/local/bin/sfxload /usr/local/synthfm.sbk

I check in /usr/local/bin and sfxload is there. I can execute the same
entry after boot and it works fine.

Also, I transfered a couple of .mid files from my Windows partition and I was
able to play only one of them. The other ones do not produce any sound at all!

At the end of the day, it is quite a significant improvement because I can play
midi files but it sounds like I still have some tweaking to do.

Cheers,
Fred
